Blake (Original Tufty Clone)

Blake (a Tufty clone)

The original Tufty, enemy of the Federation, has had his head brainwashed & conditioned often enough to earn a big discount at the Federation hairdresser's. He's got woolly hair and wears a bodywarmer & wellies - 'nuff said.

The Lord Avon (sigh!)

The Lord Avon

The true leader of the pack, could sneer for the galaxy, Avon brought us leather (phwoar!), he gave us studs and he made us swoon when he sneers. We worship at his alta… more on the Lord at His Shrine

Vila

Vila is the talented thief & lockpick whose skills get the crew in (and out) of security doors with ease. He is careful to avoid dangerous situations and like Avon, has self preservation at the top of his agenda. Much more on Vila in Vila's World

Horsewoman

Jenna (Horsewoman)

Horsewoman is a former smuggler and the pre-Tufty pilot. She bonds with Zen in the episode Cygnus Alpha and gets kidnapped by wild tribesmen in Deliverance and The Keeper - never learns!

Gan

Gan

Gan is the only crew member without any special skill. He's got a limiter and he's not afraid to use it…

Zen

Zen

Zen is the Liberator's onboard computer. He bonds with Horsewoman but is pretty celibate thereafter.

Cally

Cally is the only alien crew member. Her 100% Nylon outfits give off enough static electricity to make her semi-telepathic.

Orac

Orac is the whizzy but bad tempered computer built by the scientist Ensor. Like most scientists, Orac doesn't live in the real world and gets the crew in trouble in Dawn of the Gods and Blake.

Dayna

Dayna

Dayna is the weapons expert who joins the crew as a replacement for horsewoman in season 3. She gets to snog the Lord Avon just seconds after meeting him and has moved on to Tufty by Ultraworld.

Tufty

Tarrant (Tufty)

Tufty joined the crew as resident pilot (and sheep) at the beginning of season 3. Pretty much the first thing he does is bash Lord Avon over the head and for that he must be punished! More on Tufty in Tufty Corner

Soolin

Sharp shooting Soolin joined the crew at the beginning of season 4 after the demise of the divine Dorian. Not much more to say about her really.

Servalan

Servalan is Avon's arch enemy, but as we all know, love and hate are two sides of the same coin… it's easy to understand the Lord Avon's morbid fascination with a woman who can do intergalactic battle wearing evening dress and 4" stilettos.

Travis the 1st

Travis 1 is the deliciously menacing enemy of Blake. Has a thing about mutoids…

Travis the 2nd

Travis 2 never quite managed to live up to Travis 1, but watch him in "Gambit" to get an understanding of why he has such a large fan following…

2

Liberator

The Liberator is the sexiest spaceship in Sci-fi; it was so sad when the ship was destroyed at the end of season 3.  I still have my toy Liberator (still play with it in fact).

Scorpio

Next to the Liberator, Scorpio is functional at best.  Things improved a little when the star drive was added.

Slave

Slave is the computer on board Scorpio and it has a severe inferiority complex…but that’s only to be expected, since it is clearly very inferior to Zen.

Mutoid

This is Travis’s Mutoid from the episode “Duel”.  My hair looked like this not so long ago…
